Everyone receives a workshop plan, recipe guide, and take-home products.
All workshops finish with an authentic County farm lunch that is prepared by everyone.
Price per person varies on particular workshop.
We offer a variety of workshops at Littlejohn Farm. Our property is made up of several vegetable and herb gardens and an orchard that grows apples and pears.
Sourdough Workshop
This workshop will teach how to build a sourdough starter using raw ingredients.
Guests will also learn how to make a variety of breads and pastries using their new starter.
Sourdough cooking workshop: $225 + HST per person.
This workshop is available throughout the year.
Private group bookings available.
Everyone will receive a lesson plan, a recipe booklet, a sourdough starter to take home.

Pickling & Preserving Workshop
This includes pickling vegetables + fermentation + fruit preservation workshops.
Price per person is $225 + HST
This workshop is intended to teach guests how to preserve their fruits and vegetables while they are in their prime season.
This workshop is available in June, July and August.
Private group bookings available.
Everyone will receive a lesson plan, a recipe booklet.

Charcuterie Workshop
This workshop is designed to teach guests how to turn meat protein into products that will last an entire year.
Guests will get a chance to make products such as bacon, fresh sausages, pastrami, and terrines.
Charcuterie Workshop: $350 + HST per person
This workshop is available in September, October and November.
Private group bookings available in other months.

Cheese Making Workshop
Our cheese making workshop is designed to teach the basics of cheesemaking at home.
This day long experience includes a farm tour, making cheese as well as an introduction to pairing cheese with beverages.
We hope to send you away with both a passion and skill set so that you can continue making cheese at home.
Cheese Making workshop: $ 500 + HST per person
This workshop is available for private groups only.

Payment and Cancellation Policy
All booking and payments are made in advance and considered firm. We understand that events can happen though to change your schedule. If we are given notice 14 days prior to your class, we would be pleased to rebook your group to another date, or if an individual, you can transfer to another monthly class. If someone from your group, at any time, is not available to come, a substitute person that you find, can take their place. We do not provide refunds for cancellations.
